Biotherapeutic Drainage

Many people focus their healthcare on diet or stress factors but elimination of toxic residues is just as important.  When toxins accumulate, the cells and tissues no longer function as they should, leading to acute and chronic diseases.

Biotherapeutic drainage is the process of detoxifying the body by opening the routes of elimination and discharging toxic accumulations.  These toxins may come from inside the body  as the waste products of  organisms or normal cell activity.  They may also be introduced from the outside  into the body.  Sources of toxic products include polluted water and air and chemicals in food and drugs.

The body first tries to eliminate toxins through the primary routes of elimination.

Primary Routes of Elimination:

  • Liver**
  • Kidney*
  • Intestines
  • Lungs
  • Stomach
  • Pancreas

If these are not functioning as they should then the body looks for alternative ways to save vital organs from toxicity. It then turns to the secondary routes of elimination.

Secondary Routes of Elimination:

  • Skin
  • Mucus Membranes:
      • Respiratory tract
      • Genitourinary tract

When toxins cannot be eliminated a process of inflammation is set up to “burn them off” by the immune system.  In the mucus membranes this can result in swelling, congestion, discharge, redness or infections.  In the skin, itch, rashes and eruptions can result.  A third level emunctory is the joint.  Accumulations and inflammation here lead to arthritis.

Biotherapeutic drainage is done using remedies called Unda Numbers.  The Unda numbers are combinations of homeopathic and herbal remedies which have been formulated to target different organs & systems of the body.  Once there, their action is to stimulate drainage or detoxification of the cells and tissue and to support its proper function and repair.  Due to their various actions, the remedies are often combined to synergistically promote healing.

Biotherapeutic drainage can be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment and will not interfere with medications.  It is helpful for most conditions and for overall enhancement of health and well-being.
