Dr. Janice Potter, BSc, ND
Janice Potter grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, the daughter of a nurse and an engineer and the oldest of six children.
After working overseas in Papua New Guinea for five years, she returned to Canada with several health problems. These problems were best addressed with naturopathic medicine and Dr. Potter became an avid student of homeopathy.
In 1998 Dr. Potter completed the four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She opened her first practice, "Family Naturopathic Care" in Listowel, Ontario, and practiced four years in that community. Since 2002, Dr. Potter has been in private practice in Kelowna, B.C., where she lives with her husband and three grown sons.
“I appreciate how naturopathic medicine takes a different approach
to health care and works to support the body’s natural healing tendencies.
It has opened many new avenues to me, especially as I deal more
with the emotional aspects of healing.”
